Who we are
VoyageOS ("we", "us") is operated from the European Union and provides AI-powered travel planning tools at voyageos.tech. Contact: contactvoyageos@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Account data — when you sign up (email or via Google / Facebook), we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from the provider you chose.
- Trip data — destinations, dates, notes, itinerary items, and packing lists you create inside your account.
- Marketing signups — if you submit your email from the homepage, we store it to send updates about VoyageOS.
We do not collect payment data — purchases are handled by Etsy. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
How we use it
- To create and run your account.
- To store and display the trips you build.
- To send service-related email (account changes, important updates).
- With your explicit consent only: occasional product updates and new-destination announcements.
Who processes your data
We use a small set of trusted infrastructure providers:
- Clerk (Clerk Inc., USA) — authentication and identity management.
- Neon (Neon Inc., USA) — database hosting for your trip data.
- Vercel (Vercel Inc., USA) — website hosting.
- Google and Meta (Facebook) — only if you choose to sign in with their services.
Where data leaves the EU, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses as the legal transfer mechanism.
Your rights (GDPR)
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time. See Data Deletion for the deletion process, or email contactvoyageos@gmail.com for any other request. We respond within 30 days.
Retention
We keep your account and trip data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we erase it within 30 days, except where law requires longer retention.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Changes
If we update this policy materially, we will notify you by email. Minor edits are reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
